This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. 1. Remove elevation page that is not approved per DDO request. SECTIONS - DETAILS: 2. Ceiling gypsum board must be either 5/8" or ½" sag resistant when applied to ceilings framed at 24" o/c, IRC table R702.3.5 footnote d. PLUMBING PLAN: 3. Provide sufficient venting at laundry standpipe, UPC 904. 4. Include all four lavatories in water supply fixture unit schedule. 5. Provide the maximum developed length of water line from the meter the furthest appliance served and the lowest available pressure, UPC Table 6-6. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 6. Specify a minimum 20 amp circuit for workshop bathroom receptacle, E3603.4, E3801.6. 7. Provide two or more 2O-amp circuits to supply the small appliance receptacles along kitchen counter tops. Such circuits shall be GFCI protected and shall not serve other rooms (except breakfast areas, pantries, etc.), E3801.3 OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE 8. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 3.1.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations.
