05/05/2011 DAVE MANN FIRE REVIEW Denied Fire Comments:

1. Stairs and railings were installed without permits. Show complete compliance with IFC Chapter 10.

2. The occupancy has an A2 componant added. Show new occupant load calculations. Occpant load is shown as both 29.4 and 59.4. An A2 occupancy would likely require the extension of the sprinklers from the basement. If this is an F2 a fire separation will be required to the M occupancy next door. Provide new area calculations for the new occupancies. The information on this sheet shows an increase for sprinklers. This is only allowable if the building is fully sprinklered.
