2. Provide the minimum plumbing facilities required by Table 2902.1 and Section 2902.2, IBC 2006, for A-3 (assembly) occupancy, i.e. service sink and drinking fountain.
3. Provide floor drains for the restrooms. Reference: Section 411.2, UPC 2006.

6. The branch piping sizes called out for the urinal flush valve will result in a water velocity greater than 8 FPS. Limit the water velocity to less than 8 FPS for the copper piping. Reference: Sections 610.12 and A 6.1, UPC 2006 and IS 3-2003, Section 2.6.

05/03/2011 ROBERT SHERRY WATER REVIEW Denied 1. Revise the site drawing to show the location and size of both the water meter and the reduced pressure backflow preventer assembly. Reference: Section 103.2.3, UPC 2006.
2. Provide a letter from Tucson Water confirming that the use of a 5/8" water meter will be allowed for this project (there will be 22 fixture units in the building once the minimum plumbing fixtures are added to the plans which equates to a demand of 15 GPM). Note that this is an A-3 (assembly) occupancy.
