Site Plan:

1. Please include a response letter to the comments along with the corrected copies of the SP.
2. It appears that the site plan is not depicting the actual site conditions. Although the revisions are considered minor for engineering, a correctly drawn site shall be included in the submittal. The following items are listed from the City of Tucson Development Standards and shall be shown on the site plan.
3. 2-02.2.0 - SITE PLAN CONTENT AND SPECIFICATIONS:
2.1 Site Plan.
A. The site plan is drawn at a standard engineering scale no larger than l" = 60' on a
sheet(s) no larger than 30" by 42" (24" by 36" recommended) and includes, but is not
limited to, the following:
1. North arrow and scale.
2. Property description.
3. Project address.
4. Location map.
5. Lot dimensions and bearings.
6. All existing and proposed buildings and structures, including location, size, height,
overhangs, canopies, and use.
10. Existing and future sight visibility triangles.
11. Points of egress and ingress including locations and width of driveways and
parking area access lanes (PAALs).
18. Street names.
19. Dimensioned right-of-way, including any applicable Major Streets and Routes
(MS&R) Plan right-of-way.
21. Dimensions from street monument lines to existing and proposed curbs,
sidewalks, driveways, and utility lines.

a. Please change all details and references from ADA to ICC (ANSI 117.1, 2003 Edition).
b. Please review all accessibility design details and change them to be in compliance with the ICC (ANSI 117.1, 2003 Edition).
c. An accessible compliant review for ADA Accessible Standards may be conducted upon an approved appeal to the building official, Mr. Ron Boose. If so desired, please complete a building official appeal and submit for review and approval. A fee of $132.00 is required for processing.
2. Generic details are not acceptable. Sheet nos. ADA1.0 and ADA 1.1 are mostly code copied details that that no relevance to the actual design of the accessibility elements of this project. Please delete all details not relevant to this project.
a. Please provide large scale details of the accessible parking shown on sheet C2.0 and provide all accessible dimensions, slopes, signage, markings, symbols, ramps and access to the accessible routes in compliance with the ICC (ANSI 117.1 2003 Edition).
c. Please note that detectable warning strips are not required for accessible parking aisles unless they are a part of a marked crossing. Please delete detectable warning strips shown at the aisle ramp.
3. Please provide only one detail of the accessible parking design layout with all the accessible requiremnts included on this one partial plan. Three plan details of the parking layout are not necessary.
