Comments:

1. The building plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until it has been approved by the Engineering, and Landscape Review Sections and until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. Zoning could not verify that the building plan was in compliance with the approved development plan. Please submit two copies of the approved and stamped development, landscape, and NPPO plans with the next building plan submittal.

3. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved site/development plan. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
03/10/2011 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Include the hose bibbs in the water fixture unit calculations. Reference: Section 604.1, IPC 2006.
2. Revise the water heater schedule for WH-1 to include a means for controlling water thermal expansion. Reference: Section 607.3, IPC 2006.
3. Provide backflow protection for all appliances that are directly-connected to the water distribution system and indicate the type of backflow prevention device that is to be used for each appliance. Reference: Sections 608.1 and 608.16.1, IPC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson.
4. Provide the first floor elevation of the building and the rim elevation of the next upstream manhole; determine if a backwater valve is required. Reference: Section 715.1, IPC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson.
5. Revise the floor drain in the walk-in cooler to terminate with an indirect waste connection to comply with the requirements of Section 802.1.2, IPC 2006.
6. Provide a vent for the combination waste and vent system per Section 912.2.2, IPC 2006.
7. Provide calculations to show that the proposed scuppers comply with the capacity requirements of Table 1106.2, IPC 2006. (Note that scuppers act as weirs and not as horizontal pipes.) Reference: Sections 1101.7, 1102.6, and 1105, IPC 2006.
8. Provide overflow roof drainage. Reference: Sections 1107.1 and 1107.3, IPC 2006.
9. The three soft serve freezers (2A, 2E, and 4B) appear to be water-cooled. Provide information to show that each unit is provided with a water-saving device as required by Section 1201.3, IMC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson and that the water consumption by each of these units no greater than 3 gallons per nominal ton per hour.
