Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:
The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Any architect and/or engineer involved in the design of the structure shall seal the related new or revised sheets of plans including details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration.
2. Taped on modifications are not allowed on original drawings. Provide copies of cover sheet.
3. Correct all mislabeled section references.
4. Clarify all overtyping.

SITE PLAN:
5. Location of electric service panel on site plan does not match location on electrical plan.

FOUNDATION PLAN:
6. Show locations of all embedded hardware on foundation plan.
7. Specify sizes of all point-load footings, R401.2.
8. Show no-step entry for Inclusive Home Design ordinance.

STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN:
9. Clarify shearwall note 2 on sheet A-1a.
10. Show lateral load transfer from second floor, R602.10.8.
11. Provide interior braced wall lines max 35'o.c, R602.10.1.1, R602.10.8.
12. Designate locations of second floor braced wall panels, R602.10.1.1, R602.10.8.
13. Clarify locations of metal strapping between floors.

22. Specify kitchen exhaust venting to the exterior minimum 100 CFM, R303.3, M1507.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
23. Show receptacle outlets at each kitchen counter space wider than 12" so that no point along the wall line is more than 24" from a receptacle outlet, E3801.4.1.
24. Designate the circuit number for each light fixture, receptacle, appliance, and equip disconnect on the electrical layout, E3603.5.
25. Clarify location of subpanel B.
26. Specify the grounding electrode method, E3508.
