03/12/2013 | PAUL MACHADO | ENGINEERING | REVIEW | Denied | Laith Alshami, Engineering and Floodplain Review, 03/12/2013, Houghton Town Center, Phase 1A Grading Plan Comments: 1- It is not clear why the original earthwork quantities have not been revised since the proposed revisions include pad grade changes and road changes at different locations. Clarify and revise as necessary. 2- Clarify if the proposed grade changes will impact the original approved drainage scheme. 3- Clarify why the slope that was shown along the scenic corridor, on Sheet 6 of 18, has been removed on the revised sheets. Additionally, the proposed grading in the scenic corridor is an unacceptable disturbance. Revise as needed. 4- Clarify why there is additional grading proposed on Parcels 3 and 5. 5- The proposed pad elevation revisions, on Sheet 7 of 18, are significant. Clarify the reason and explain if the grade revision will impact the original drainage scheme. Additionally, clarify if the proposed grade changes might affect the use of the flowage easement. 6- Is the turn around, shown in the top left corner of Sheet 9 of 18, part of the proposed revision? 7- Why isn't the Discount Tire parcel grade revisions included in this submittal? If you have any questions, I can be reached at 837-4933 or Laith.Alshami@tucsonaz.gov |
