PDSD Engineering recommends approval. The following grading permit conditions shall be addressed during drainage improvements. GRADING PERMIT CONDITIONS: The following 8 conditions apply to grading permit T11BU01146: 1) Call for Pre-construction meeting, intermediate and final inspections. There shall be NO stockpiling or disturbance within the floodplain or Railroad Wash which runs along the west side of the project. Disturbance limits shall be adhered to as shown on the approved plans. 3) During onsite Pre-construction meeting and after any rain events, any special or additional specific interim sediment and erosion control measures shall be determined and implemented for control of stormwater runoff from the construction areas to minimize potential adverse impact to the Railroad Wash. All SWPPP reports shall be kept onsite and made available to City of Tucson PDSD Inspectors. 4) A copy of the Grading Plan and Grading Permit shall be kept at the site at all times, until final grading approval. 5) All work shall conform to the approved Site / Grading and Drainage Plan for Union Pacific Railroad, activity number T11BU01146, by Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (seal date 11/29/11), drainage report: Union Pacific Railroad Company Tucson Yard Stormwater Improvements Report (December 2011), and SWPPP which is made part of this permit. 6) Any revision to the Grading Plan may require a re-submittal of a revised grading plan for review. Contact PDSD Engineering at 791-5550 to discuss changes in grading design. 7) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date of the grading permit, contact PDSD to renew/extend the Grading Permit. If Final Grading Inspection has not been completed before the Grading Permit expires, and the permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required. 8) The permitee shall notify the PDSD when the grading operation is ready for final grading inspection. Final grading approval shall not be given until all work, including installation of all drainage improvements and their permanent protective devices, and all permanent erosion control measures have been completed in accordance with the approved grading plan and grading permit, and all conditions of permit are completed.
