Below are comments on the authorized repair submittal for COT ID #370 at
4045 East Speedway Boulevard (T11BU00468).

1. Clarify the cross-section dimensions of the existing and replacement
backrails (shown as 2"x 6" in Backrail Mounting Detail and 3" x 4"
elsewhere).

2. Depict the backrail on an elevation, showing the 14-foot length to be
replaced and any lengths that are remaining and not to be replaced.

3. In Stringer Between Uprights, it appears that the orientation of the
stringer does not match existing and #12 screws referenced do not currently
exist; rotate the orientation to match existing and delete the #12 screws
shown there and referenced in the second note of Scope of Work.

4. Clarify the apron sections fasteners (shown as 16d nails in Scope of
Work and as #12 screws in Apron Mounting Detail).
