PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, DOT, Permits and Codes Section

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA Plan and does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal.

1. Include the plan number "I-2010-018" in title block of each sheet.
2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number (T10PI0014) on cover sheet.
3. Include development plan number on cover sheet.
4. Include landscape plans in sheet numbering.
5. Has the County agreed to have the city of Tucson issue the permit and provide construction surveillance for the portion of the roadway within Pima County's jurisdiction? Submit any correspondence pertaining to this matter with next submittal.
6. Include all proposed improvements on Golf Links Rd in this plan set. Have the proposed improvements along Golf Links Rd. been coordinated with the approved plans by Urban Engineering for the City of Tucson Water Eastside Service Center (I-2010-013).
7. Provided a Pima County approval signature line on cover sheet.
8. List the projects administrative address on cover sheet.
9. Delineate and label City of Tucson jurisdiction limits on site area map.
10. Provide basis of elevation on cover sheet, reference City of Tucson Field Book and Page.
11. Use City of Tucson standard symbols and abbreviations per PC/COT standard detail 100.
12. Label all easements and rights-of-way dedications with recordation information.
13. Submit a copy of the temporary roadway easement for right turn lane with net submittal.
14. Indicate a minimum 2' wide pavement section at end and beginning of pavement tapers.
15. Provide stationing and offsets for the beginning, ending and angle points of the proposed guardrail on Houghton Road.
16. Provide a detail of the proposed curb access ramp on the north side of the south driveway entrance off of Houghton Road. Show how asphalt path will connect to curb access ramp.
17. Provide details (structural and width of path) for the proposed asphalt path along Houghton Road.
18. Storm drain along Golf Links Road leading from an onsite basin must be located on private property.

Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan.
Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed.

1. Finalize coordination with Pima County regarding the temporary easement for the required right turn lane along Houghton Road.

2. See redlines on sheet 4 of 7 in the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes.

3. Provide a 'RIGHT LANE' (R3-5F) supplemental plaque under the new (R3-5R) along Houghton Road.

4. Place the PIA and CDRC Case number on the cover sheet.

5. Add the following Signing General Notes 'The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating all work with Blue Stake and for installing all traffic signs in the field.'

6. Add the following Pavement Marking/Striping General Notes to the Plans:

'ALL STREET STRIPING & SIGNAGE TO BE COORDINATED WITH C.O.T. TRAFFIC ENGINEERING CALL 791-4259 A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL OF ANY SIGNAGE OR STRIPING. ALL REQUIRED STRIPING AND SIGNAGE WILL BE INSTALLED AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. NEW STRIPING TO BE THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL. USE 2" SQUARE-TUBE POST AND SQUARE TUBE POST FOUNDATIONS FOR SIGNING. BARRICADE PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF TUCSON TRAFFIC ENGINEERING FOR APPROVAL 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF ANY WORK IN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY.'

'THE CITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ERRORS AND/OR OMISSIONS ON THESE PLANS. ITEMS NOT MEETING CITY STANDARDS SHALL BE REPAIRED/REPLACED BY THE DEVELOPER/CONTRACTOR AND AT NO COST TO THE CITY.'
