| 06/01/2010 | JOSE ORTIZ | DOT TRAFFIC | REVIEW | Denied | June 1, 2010 ACTIVITY NUMBER: T10PI00008 PROJECT NAME: Julian Wash Greenway PROJECT ADDRESS: 7501 S Kolb Rd PROJECT REVIEWER: Jose E. Ortiz PE, Traffic Engineer Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed. 1. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes. 2. Along Kolb Road ensure that all existing signs that are effected by the off-site improvements and are applicable to the roadway remain in place or relocated to an appropriate location. If damaged or unsuitable for reuse then replace with new sign and/or post. 3. The private roadway has a proposed radius of 50' - TDOT-Traffic prefers a radius return of 25' a radius larger then 25' will need to be justified based on the use and/or field conditions surrounding the private roadway. 4. Show existing striping in plan view to establish the location of pavement marking obliteration. 5. Install street names under the proposed stop sign at the proposed private roadway off of Kolb Road per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 5-11, 5-12, and Chap 9-2. 6. If applicable install a W14-2a (No Outlet) or W14-1a (Dead end) plaque beneath the street name signs. 7. Provide dimensions or a typical section illustrating the width of the private road and adjacent path. 8. Place the PIA and CDRC Case number on the cover sheet.
