The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal. 1. Include the plan number "I-2010-013" in the title block of each sheet. 2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number "T01PI00007"on cover sheet. 3. Provide hydraulic analysis for sizing of catch basins within the public right-of-way. 4. Provide a detail of the southeast corner of Houghton Road and Golf Links Road. Show and label all existing utilities and roadway infrastructure (poles, cabinets pull boxes, etc.) within the public right-of-way and indicate as to their disposition if in conflict with proposed improvements. 5. If wing walls are proposed with the headwall at Sta. 23+41, LT. (Golf Links Rd.), provide details (length and angle etc.). 6. Clarify the type of catch basin which is proposed at the southeast corner of Houghton Road and Golf Links Road. A PC/COT S.D. 307 Type 1 is a fixed length (single or double grate). Additionally, provide stationing for catch basin, indicate type of grate (EF-1 or EF-2) and provide details for pipe connection into existing catch basin. Ortiz PE, Traffic Engineer Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed. 1. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes. 2. Coordination with TDOT staff (MJ Dillard) is needed to verify that the future widening of Houghton Road will not impact the off-site improvements proposed with this development. 3. If the proposed improvements impact the existing traffic signals then a signal plan is required to address the modification to the signal layout. 4. Along Golf Links Road ensure that all existing signs that are effected by the off-site improvements and remain applicable to the roadway remain in place or relocated to an appropriate location. If damaged or unsuitable for reuse then replace with a new sign and/or post. 5. In plan view illustrate the existing striping of the west leg of the Houghton/Golf Links intersection to confirm that the proposed alignments along the east leg of Golf Links align with those on the west leg. 6. The existing dirt road (westbound) may need to be re-aligned due to the shift in the westbound through lane. 7. Install a W14-2 (No Outlet) along the east leg of Golf Links Road. 8. Install R2-1 (25MPH Speed Limit Sign) along the east leg of Golf Links Road per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-10. 9. Install new (R3-5R) "RIGHT ONLY" signs and pavement marking per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-5D. 10. Provide a 'RIGHT LANE' (R3-5F) supplemental plaque under the new (R3-5R) along Golf Links Road. 11. Place the PIA and CDRC Case number on the cover sheet. 12. Add the following Pavement Marking/Striping General Notes to the Plans: 'ALL STREET STRIPING & SIGNAGE TO BE COORDINATED WITH C.O.T. TRAFFIC ENGINEERING CALL 791-4259 A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL OF ANY SIGNAGE OR STRIPING. ALL REQUIRED STRIPING AND SIGNAGE WILL BE INSTALLED AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. NEW STRIPING TO BE THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL. USE 2" SQUARE-TUBE POST AND SQUARE TUBE POST FOUNDATIONS FOR SIGNING. BARRICADE PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF TUCSON TRAFFIC ENGINEERING FOR APPROVAL 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF ANY WORK IN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY.'
