DATE: November 22, 2010 ACTIVITY NUMBER: T10OT02425 SUMMARY: Engineering Division of Planning & Development Services Department has received the submittal for the above referenced property and has reviewed the drainage statement prepared by EEC. The ASD school projects are exempt from certain regulations, and since there is no jurisdictional flow in the area of proposed improvements a courtesy grading permit is not requested. Engineering Division of Planning & Development Services Department recommends conditional approval; Submit registrant sealed and signed drainage statements. Also it is recommended that the drainage swale be constructed in such a manner as to conform with IBC Section 1803.3 to minimize impact to the building foundation from stormwater runoff in the proposed swale within 10-ft of the building structures, using impervious surfaces (sidewalk) adjacent to the building or grouting rip rap.
