10/14/2010 | GLENN MOYER | ADMINISTRATIVE | ADMIN REVIEW | Approv-Cond | BRC Comments Below are comments on the lighting relocation (and now replacement) & electrical repair second resubmittal for COT ID# 409 at 1893 West Prince Road (T10EL01036). Sheet 2 of 3 1. Notes (Bullet #2): add sentence indicating that the respective replacements of the four (4) fluorescent light fixtures are allowed under Subparagraph 8.5 of the Stipulation and that each replacement counts against the stated limit of 50. 2. Notes (Bullets #7, #8 & #9): it is difficult to make distinctions between the junction boxes in these entries; designate the location of the respective single gang junction boxes (e.g., add suffixes in parentheses such as "east face/upper/north"); in Bullet #9 clarify if ¾" EMT is the intended entry (rather than ½" EMT). 3. Elevation: based on the Notes & Partial Plan View, it appears that there are different conduit/conductor configurations for each face; specify which face is being depicted (east/west) & provide a detail that shows the differences in the conduit conductor configuration for the second face (and change the note on same configuration accordingly); if the only difference between the two faces is a tee being used on the opposite side to mirror the lower junction box on the first side and a double run of conductors to/from the first ballast, a note to that effect could suffice. 4. Elevation Detail: reference to ¾" existing rigid conduit appears to be for new rigid conduit; if so, correct. 5. Panel Schedule: correct the volt-amp entries for Circuits #1 and #3 and associated sums; based on input watts specified by the manufacturer (431 watts per two lamp fixture (F96T12VHO)) and the 125% continuous load factor that the EOR has been including in the panel schedule, this figure should be 1077.5 v-a for each circuit; if otherwise, provide the calculations as to how the v-a entry was arrived at; these entries need to be standardized for all pending and future panel schedules. 6. Panel Schedule: height/width/depth entries do not match Square D panel: correct entries or, if necessary, indicate not available. 7. Partial Plan View: five (5) junction boxes are called out, but only four (4) are depicted; show fifth junction box; if two are stacked in this top view, indicate where. 8. Partial Plan View: add circuit number for each light fixture. 9. Partial Vicinity Map: reinstate the TEP pole and overhead drop depicted in the original submittal. Sheet 3 of 3 1. Comment for future reference: New Ballast: indicate input watts for the application. 2. Comment for future reference: Elevation: indicate that elevation is for both sides where applicable. |
