Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:
The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

SITE PLAN:
1. Specify the location of all utility lines and service meters, R106.1.1.

FLOOR PLAN:
2. Specify safety glazing in hazardous locations, R308.4. Within 18" of the floor when individual panes exceed 9 square feet, within 24" of doorways, and less than 60" above tub/shower floors.

STRUCTURAL PLAN:
3. Specify all ledger connections to masonry walls (3x ledger material required), Figure R606.11(1).
4. Justify cupola support within roof framing.
5. Specify roof framing materials over living area.

SECTIONS - DETAILS:
6. Ceiling gypsum board must be either 5/8" or ½" sag resistant when applied to ceilings framed at 24" o/c, IRC table R702.3.5 footnote d.

PLUMBING PLAN:
7. Provide a gas line isometric and size the supply pipe for the connected demand. Include the length of line and BTU demand for each appliance, size of each branch, total demand, and total developed length from meter to the most remote appliance on the system, UPC 1217.0 Table 12-8.
8. Two-way cleanout required within 2' from the building at the lower end, UPC 707.4.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
9. Bathrooms require a separate 20-amp circuit, E3603.4, E3801.6.
10. Provide individual load calculations for each subpanel and then apply 100% of subpanel loads to main service panel load calculation.
11. Specify feeder conductors, conduit sizes, and over-current protection (with appropriate correction factors) for subpanels on riser diagram, E3605.5.
12. Specify the grounding electrode method and size of the grounding electrode conductor, E3508.

INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE:
13. The simplified prescribed energy values for ceilings is R=30, N1102.1.

OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE:
14. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 3.1.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. Model plans should specify a minimum lot size for the proposed exterior lighting.
