Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the building envelope. 3. Specify the minimum resistance (R-value) of the duct insulation to be used on ducts inside of the building. Reference: Section 503.2.7, IECC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson.
4. Clarify the heat source for the proposed HVAC units; electric resistance heating per the schedule or gas heat per the detail. Reference: Section 106.3.1, IMC 2006.
5. Clarify the termination points for the HVAC unit condensate drains. Condensate drains may not terminate in an area that is not capable of absorbing the condensate flow without surface drainage. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson.
6. If the freezer units have condensate drains, show their location, size and termination points. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson.
7. Provide calculations demonstrating adequate ventilation. Reference: Section 401.2, IMC 2006.
8. Revise the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans so that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2006.
