SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2006 International Residential Code, 2005 National Electrical Code and Arizona Revised Statutes. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or a finished reproducible set. Return two sets along with a set of the first submission for reference. STRUCTURAL PLANS: 1. Clarify the roof framing information for determining load carrying capacity. Specify the 4 x 8 (two 2 x 4) as dimensional or rough sawn framing members, R301.1. Show this conductor size between the inverter and the service ground. NOTES / SPECIFICATIONS 1. Provide the exact wording and location for the DC Power Source "Imp, Vmp, Vmax, Isc" marking required by NEC 690.53. 2. Provide the location for the "backfed" circuit breaker in compliance with NEC 690.64 (B) (5). 3. Specify that the module interconnection connectors are capable of interrupting the circuit current without danger to the operator, or marked: "Do Not Open Under Load." (Reference NEC 690.33 (E) and Handbook commentary.) If you have any questions please contact: Ken Van Karsen (520) 837-4912 City of Tucson Residential Plan Review |
