Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:
The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings (no clouds or revision numbers please) along with a set of the first submission (cloud corrections on this set please). All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets.
2. Provide page numbers on every page.
3. As of 6/12/2007 the City of Tucson has adopted the 2006 IRC.

SITE PLAN:
4. Specify the location of utility lines and meters from property line to (E) existing building, R106.1.1.
5. Show individual water meters for each building.

FLOOR PLANS:
6. Specify minimum R-30 in ceiling spaces (sheet 3), N1102.1.

FOUNDATION PLANS:
7. Provide accurate cross references, R106.1.1.
8. Note number 1 requires 18" minimum footing depth. Provide consistent information on section details.

STRUCTURAL PLANS:
9. Clarify truss design 'E'.
10. Confirm gable truss design at kitchen/carport area.

PLUMBING PLAN:
11. Washing machine may not use common gray water line and must have method of connection to black water line.
12. Specify sewer piping material outside of building.
13. Minimum 1" water supply line required from meter to building for pressure range specified.

MECHANICAL PLAN:
14. Show supply and return ducts with minimum R-8 insulation, R1103.2.1.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
15. Laundry rooms require at least one 20-amp circuit that shall serve no other outlets, E3603.3, 3801.8.
16. Show gfci receptacle within 25' of roof mounted equipment, E3801.11, E3803.4.
17. Bedroom outlets shall be arc-fault protected (combination type including smoke detectors), E3802.12.
18. All smoke detectors must be interconnected with a power source from the building wiring, and shall be equipped with battery backup.

OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE
19. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 3.1.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. Model plans should specify a minimum lot size for the proposed exterior lighting.
