This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings and one set of the first submission for reference. All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pencil and/or white out on final prints will not be acceptable. To expedite review, please cloud the originally submitted set with red ink and limit clouding on final set. Ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. 2. Revise all swimming pool notes to reflect the City of Tucson's amended International Residential Code requirements, Appendix G. FOUNDATION PLAN: 3. Specify foundation hold-downs for alternate brace wall panels that have minimum uplift capacity of 1800 lbs, R602.10.6. SECTIONS - DETAILS: 4. Specify wall and ceiling covering. Note: Ceiling gypsum board must be either 5/8" or ½" sag resistant when applied to ceilings framed at 24" o/c, IRC table R702.3.5 footnote d. PLUMBING PLAN: 5. Provide a vent for the washing machine or show the trap within an acceptable distance to the nearest vent, UPC Table 10-1. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 6.
