This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings and one set of the first submission for reference. All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pencil and/or white out on final prints will not be acceptable. To expedite review, please cloud the originally submitted set with red ink and limit clouding on final set. Ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. SECTIONS - DETAILS: 2. Specify ledger connection to wall. 3. Specify method of support for 4x6 ceiling beams. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 4. Use Table E3602.13 for sizing 15, 20 & 30 AMP branch circuit conductors. Use Table E3605.1 (60 degree C column) for sizing branch circuits and conductors rated <100 amps. (circuits #5, 6, 8) 5. Correct electrical load calculation. Each subpanel should be calculated according to its load first and then added to the end of the load calculation for the main panel at 100%. 6. All circuits that supply power to sleeping rooms shall be protected with combination-type arc-fault breakers (receptacles, lights, and smoke detectors), E3802.12. 7. At least one wall switch controlled light or outlet must be provided at outdoor entrances or exits, E3803.3. OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE 8. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 3.1.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations.
