Provide pressure-absorbing devices for the water connections to appliances equipped with quick-acting or solenoid valves (e.g. clothes washer). Reference: Section 609.10, UPC 2006. 6. Verify that the reduced pressure backflow preventer located in room 114 conforms to the access and clearance requirements of Section 603.3.4, UPC 2006. 7. Provide a vacuum relief for storage-type water heaters located above any fixture outlets. Reference: Section 608.7, UPC 2006. 8. Provide cleanouts sized per Section 707.11, UPC 2006. 9. Revise waste and vent diagram "C" to correspond with the plumbing plan. Reference: Section 103.2.3, UPC 2006. 10. With respect to waste and vent diagram "D", no more than one trap shall be installed on a trap arm; the specified solids interceptor is designed to be installed in lieu of the P-trap. Note also that the specified interceptor is designed for top access to the removable sediment bucket; install per the manufacturer's instructions to provide sufficient maintenance access.
