The plans have been reviewed to the 2006 UPC; provide an approved appeal to the building official if the plans are to be reviewed to the 2006 IPC.
2. Provide the minimum plumbing facilities required by Table 2902.1 and Section 2902.2, IBC 2006, for business occupancy (e.g. a service sink).
3. Provide a design for the mounting shelf for the water heater. Reference: Sections 310.0 and 314.5, UPC 2006.
4. Clarify how the temperature of the hot water supply to the public lavatories is to be controlled. Reference: Section 413.1, UPC 2006 and Section 504.3, IECC 2006.
5. Provide pressure-absorbing devices for the water connections to appliances equipped with quick-acting or solenoid valves (e.g. clothes washer). Reference: Section 609.10, UPC 2006.

10. With respect to waste and vent diagram "D", no more than one trap shall be installed on a trap arm; the specified solids interceptor is designed to be installed in lieu of the P-trap. Note also that the specified interceptor is designed for top access to the removable sediment bucket; install per the manufacturer's instructions to provide sufficient maintenance access.
