This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings (no clouds or revision numbers please) along with a set of the first submission (cloud corrections on this set please). All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. 2. Any architect and/or engineer involved in the design of the structure shall seal the related sheets of plans including revisions, details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration. SITE PLAN: 3. Show barrier between house and pool to meet enclosure criteria for swimming pools, AG105.2 as amended. Pool barrier must meet current enclosure/barrier criteria when work is performed in pool area, AG105.2 as amended. a. Specify heights: minimum 5 feet high for enclosure (around perimeter) and minimum 4 feet high for barrier (between house and pool). b. Gates must swing away from pool area. c. Gates must be self-closing and self-latching with locking mechanism located min. 54 inches high. PLUMBING PLAN: 4. Provide water piping design for proposed new faucets, P2903.7. a. Show water lines to all new plumbing fixtures (two new faucets shown on house and two more on back wall) b. Provide a complete water supply fixture unit schedule for all plumbing fixtures on property. c. Specify the maximum developed length of water piping from the water meter to the furthest fixture served. d. Specify the available water pressure, water meter size, and supply line diameter from meter to building entrance. 5. Provide gas piping design for proposed gas connection to ramada, G2413.1. New gas piping must meet current plumbing code criteria for sizing. a. Provide a complete gas schedule for all gas appliances on property. b. Show lengths of all branch lines and point of connection OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE 6. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 3.1.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. a. An outdoor lighting calculation is required that includes all outdoor lighting on property with lumen totals for shielded and unshielded lighting. b.
