Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:
The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings (no clouds or revision numbers please) along with a set of the first submission (cloud corrections on this set please). All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets.
2. Any architect and/or engineer involved in the design of the structure shall seal the related sheets of plans including revisions, details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration.

FLOOR PLAN:
3. Specify size and operation type of all new windows, R106.1.

PLUMBING PLAN:
4. Provide bypass line or overflow around graywater diverter valve to eliminate the potential for backup waste into building.
5. Locate gray water diverter valve outside of the porch area.
6. Specify the diameter of the water supply line from the meter to the building entrance, P2903.7.
7. Specify water conservation requirements: Water closets = 1.6 gallons per flush, Sinks = 2.2 gpm, Showerheads = 2.5 gpm, P2903.2.
8. Provide note requiring that water hammer arrestor be installed in accordance with ASSE 1010-2004 on water lines serving appliances equipped with quick-closing valves to include but not limited to: clothes washers, dishwashers, and refrigerators, IRC P2903.5.
9. Shower and tub/shower combinations that have individual control valves shall be of the pressure balance or thermostatic mixing valve type.
10. Provide manufacturer cut sheet for solar water heating collector.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
11. Bathrooms require a separate 20-amp circuit (bedroom lights may not share bathroom circuit) E3603.4, E3801.6.
