06/02/2010 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Comment not addressed. Revise the fixture units used to calculate the total water demand and determine pipe sizes to use "assembly" occupancy. Reference: Section 610.1, UPC 2006.
2. Comment not addressed. Determine the size of the waste water pipes using the fixture units shown in Table 7-3. Use "assembly" occupancy where appropriate and also correct the fixture units used for the 3-compartment sinks, the mop basin, and the floor sinks. Reference: Section 703.1, UPC 2006.
3. Comment not addressed. Keynote 18 on sheet P.1 calls for the indirect waste from the sanitizing compartment of the 3-compartment sink at the bar and the prep sink (P-7) to terminate at a floor sink. Keynote 24 similarly calls for the indirect waste from the dishwasher to terminate at a floor sink. The closest floor sinks appear to be between 5 and 15 feet from the fixtures and the dishwasher therefore, show the size and routing of the indirect waste lines, along with their required traps. Reference: Section 803.0, UPC 2006.
4. Comment not addressed. The plumbing floor plan shows a floor sink located directly east of the Type I hood in the kitchen; what fixtures or appliances are draining to it? Reference: Section 103.2.3, UPC 2006.
5. Comment not addressed. The minimum size of an indirect waste line from a plumbing fixture shall be in accordance with Table 7-5, UPC 2006. Reference: Section 803.0, UPC 2006.
6. Comment not addressed. Resize the proposed grease interceptor per Section 1014.3.6, UPC 2006 using the revised waste fixture units, including the dishwashing machine.
06/02/2010 ROBERT SHERRY WATER REVIEW Denied Comment not addressed. Provide the total connected water demand that will result from the addition of this activity. Reference: Sections 610.1 and 610.2, UPC 2006.
