Specify the type of backflow prevention device required for each water connection. Reference: Sections 602.3, 603.0, and Table 6-2, UPC 2006. 7. Revise the water pressure and fixture unit calculations to provide a minimum water pressure of 25 PSI (per shell drawings) and use the water fixture units per Table 6-5 or Table A-2 (Clothes washer = 4.0 FU, Lab sinks = 2 FU). 8. Show that the termination of the plumbing vents complies with the requirements of Section 906.1, UPC 2006 with respect to the clearance from walls or parapets. |
