4. Provide listing information for the Gleco plaster trap. All plumbing fixtures and fittings shall be listed or labeled by a nationally-recognized, accredited conformity assessment company (e.g. UL, ETL, UPC, etc). Reference: Section 301.1.1, UPC 2006.
5. Provide a design for the mounting shelf for the water heater along with structural calculations to show that the water heater is safely supported. Clarify how the shelf is to be attached to the wall. Reference: Sections 310.0 and 314.5, UPC 2006.
6. Appliances (e.g. ultrasonic cleaner, sterilizer, etc) to be directly connected to the water supply system that do not have listed, integral backflow preventers or integral air gaps conforming to Table 6-3, UPC 2006 require backflow prevention. 7. Revise the water pressure and fixture unit calculations to provide a minimum water pressure of 25 PSI (per shell drawings) and use the water fixture units per Table 6-5 or Table A-2 (Clothes washer = 4.0 FU, Lab sinks = 2 FU).
8. Show that the termination of the plumbing vents complies with the requirements of Section 906.1, UPC 2006 with respect to the clearance from walls or parapets.
