This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings (no clouds or revision numbers please) along with a set of the first submission (cloud corrections on this set please). All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. SITE PLAN: 2. Specify the location of all utility lines and service meters, R106.1.1. FLOOR PLAN: 3. Label intended use of room at enclosed carport. 4. Provide natural light (8% of floor area) into enclosed carport, R303.1. FOUNDATION PLAN: 5. Specify location of foundation hold-downs for alternate brace wall panels that have minimum uplift capacity of 1800 lbs, R602.10.6. STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN: 6. Provide sufficient wall bracing at detached sleeping quarters consistent with R602.10. PLUMBING PLAN: 7. Provide a fixture unit schedule for the entire property (including existing) for the water supply system with appropriate fixture unit values, UPC Tables 6-5. 8. Provide the maximum developed length of water line from the meter the furthest appliance served, the size of the water meter, the lowest available pressure, and the diameter of the water supply line from the meter, UPC Table 6-6. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 9. Include feeder conductors, conduit sizes, and over-current protection (with appropriate correction factors) for subpanels on riser diagram, E3605.5. 10. Show subpanel 'B' on riser diagram. 11. Specify use of subpanel 'A' and include in electrical load calculation, E3502.2. 12. At least one wall switch controlled light or outlet must be provided in bathrooms, hallways, stairways, attached garages, outdoor entrances or exits, and all habitable rooms, E3803.3. 13. Receptacles located outside and in great room of guest quarters may not share bathroom circuit, E3603.4.
