The lettering size throughout all the sheets of the submitted documents do not comply with the minimum standard of 3/32". Please make all changes accordingly and resubmit. 2. Please provide provide provide proper title for all plans and details with the appropriate scale indicated. 3. Please provide consecutive sheet numbers on each construction drawing, R106.1.1. SOLAR SYSTEMS 4. Starting July 1, 2009, all new single family homes or duplexes must include in the plans either a photovoltaic system or preparation for later installation of a PV system in order to receive a permit. 5. All SFR and Duplex plans submitted after March 1, 2009 require a solar water system, or future installation preparation with one of the following provisions: control and ¾"water piping; 3" metallic sleeve; or an accessible attic over the water heater. SITE PLAN: 6. Please show location of all utility lines and meters from property line to building, R106.1.1., including electrical service. 7. Specify overhead or underground electrical service. Overhead service for new construction requires an appeal to the Building Official, IBC amendment section 111.1.1. 8. Provide gas piping for structure or submit exemption documentation, Arizona Statute 30-809. 9. Provide compliance with the Inclusive Home Design Ordinance Number 10463 and show on drawings. 10. Show all improvements on the site plan such as access roads to the new structure. SECTIONS - DETAILS: 11. Section 5/D-1 does not provide 6" separation of untreated posts or columns above finished grade as required by Section R319.1.4. ELECTRICAL PLANS: 12. Show electrical service to structure snf size of service conduit as required. 13. Show meters and associated equipment to be located from under patios when the service is upgraded or the area is enclosed. 14. Electrical drops over buildings must meet service standards by TEP and E3504.2. 15. Show the location of the panel with a 30”W x 36”D clear working space, E3305.2, E3501.6.2. 16. Panelboards may not be located in clothes closets or bathrooms, E3305.4. PLUMBING PLANS: 17. Provide a full set of plumbing along with design perameters of septic system as required. MECHANICAL PLANS: 18. Show supply and return ducts with minimum R-8 insulation, R1103.2.1. 19. Designate the capacity and fuel type of the heating and air conditioning equipment. 20. Provide an equipment specification list, M1302.1. 21. Gas appliances shall comply with ARIZONA STATE PLUMBING CODE combustion air requirements or Chapter 17, 2006 IRC. Show compliance for all appliances. Confined spaces require a minimum of two 100 SQ. IN. openings, M1702.2. OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE 22. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 3.1.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. 23. Provide cut sheets for all FCO fixtures showing the angle of cutoff, light emissions and fixture wattage. All other fixtures are assumed to be unshielded (non-FCO style).
