07/29/2010 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Note #5 on sheet EC-1 calls for six, 2" x 6" overflow scuppers; the minimum approved scupper height is 4 inches. Reference: Section 1101.11.2.1, UPC 2006.
2. Provide a cleanout at the base of each roof drain leader prior to its connection with the horizontal storm drain. Reference: Section 1101.12.2, UPC 2006.
3. Sheet C-1 shows the layout of the under-slab roof drains with a callout for what appears to be inverts for 3" pipe. If so, revise the pipe size so that the pipe does not reduce in size in the direction of flow. Reference: Section 311.5, UPC 2006.
4. Notes 19 and 20 on sheet C-2 call out roof drain leaders as SDR 35 PVC; SDR 35 PVC is not allowed for this application and it also conflicts with note 5 on sheet EC-1 which correctly calls for Schedule 40 PVC leaders. Show how the 3" leaders are to be connected to the 8" SDR 35 PVC storm sewer.
08/03/2010 DAVID RIVERA ZONING REVIEW Denied 08/03/2010

Development Services Department
Zoning Review Section

1. The building plan for the fuel center canopy has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section and while it appears to match the unapproved version of the DP Zoning cannot approve the plan at this time until it has been approved by the Building Trades reviewers and a copy of the CDRC approved and stamped development plan is included with the building plan set.

2. Zoning could not verify that the building plan will be in compliance with the CDRC approved and stamped development plan because the final rendition of the development plan has not been approved by CDRC. Please ensure that if any changes need to be made to the building or building footprint as a result of the CDRC reviewer comments, the changes are incorporated into the building plans or visa versa. Submit two copies of the approved and stamped development plan package, which includes landscape, and NPPO plans with the next building plan submittal.

3. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved development plan package. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
