This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2006 International Residential Code, 2005 National Electrical Code and Arizona Revised Statutes. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or a finished reproducible set. Return two sets along with a set of the first submission for reference. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. (Do not cloud the changes made for comment revisions). Incorporate changes on originals and provide two copied sets for review. All engineers and architects involved in the design of the structure are to seal the related sheets of plans, details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration. GENERAL NOTES: " Provide legible notation (minimum 3/32" lettering). The notes on the one and three line sheets are not legible. " Provide consistent layout information. The layout plan shows 36 panels, but the mounting detail and one line show 35 panels. " Provide manufacturer specification sheets for collector panels, inverter and mounting hardware between panels and roof. STRUCTURAL PLANS: 1. Provide complete roof framing information for determining load carrying capacity of each structure supporting a collector group. Show size, spacing and span of all framing members including trusses, joists, rafters and beams, R301.1. 2. The rafter length is needed for determining load carrying capacity for supporting the additional dead load, R301.1 & Table R802.5.1. Provide a design for supporting the existing and proposed dead load along with a 20 PSF live load. CALCULATIONS 1. Overcurrent protection may not exceed 30A for #10 rating required by NEC 240.4 (D). Increase the current carrying conductor size on AC wiring if protected at 35A. NOTES / SPECIFICATIONS 1. Provide the exact wording and location for the AC Modules " Vnom, HZnom, Pmax, Imax, Iprotection" marking required by NEC 690.52.
