01/05/2011 | ELEIBOL1 | ENGINEERING | REVIEW | Approved | DATE: January 5, 2011 TO: Josh Potter, P.E. SUBJECT: Tucson Mall BRIO Restaurant Engineering Grading & Building Plan re-review REVIEWER: Elizabeth Leibold, P.E. ACTIVITY NUMBER: T10BU01853, T10CM02835 LOCATION: FEMA 1636K X-Unshaded SUMMARY: Engineering has received and reviewed the revised Brio Tuscan Grille grading plan from WLB for review after discussing in meetings and on the phone with consultants. Engineering recommends approval of the building plans and grading plans. GRADING PERMIT CONDITIONS: The following 6 conditions apply to permits T10BU01853 / T10CM02835: 1) Call for PDSD Engineering Inspection meetings. For a DSD Engineering Inspection, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Development Services Department, or contact DSD Engineering at 837-4888, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html 2) A copy of the approved Grading Plans and Permits shall be kept at the site at all times, until final grading approval. 3) It is recommended that temporary erosion control devices be placed within disturbance limits at locations where stormwater runoff exits grading limits to prevent debris, construction silt, and/or chemicals from entering any drainage ways that eventually discharge into downstream receiving waters. 4) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date of the grading permit, contact PDSD to renew/extend the Grading Permit. If Final Grading Inspection has not been completed before the Grading Permit expires, and the permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required. 5) The permitee shall notify the DSD when the grading operation is ready for final grading inspection. As-built Grading Plans are required per DS Sec.11-01.16, and shall be submitted prior to final grading inspection. 6) Prior to issuance of CofO, a DSMR shall be submitted directly to PDSD CDRC for the sidewalk width located on the south portion of the restaurant. Refer to DS Sec.2-08.5.1.A (sidewalk width: 4ft). For any questions, call me at 837-4934.
