SUMMARY: PDSD Engineering Division has reviewed the plan set submittal for Floodplain Use Permit and Grading Plan review, and recommends approval of the floodplain use permit and grading permit. The drainage report was reviewed for the phase 1 of the Tucson Water SAVSARP Well SA-015A only.

PERMIT CONDITIONS:
1) Admin.Dir.1.07-6.III.A: The following conditions apply:
a) This permit is for the initial phase of the Tucson Water SAVSARP well improvements SA-015A & phase 1 only.
b) The Southern Avra Valley Storage And Recovery Project (SAVSARP) Well SA-015A Phase 1 plans - Tucson Water Plan No.1-017-2010 (SA-015A) and specifications are a part of the grading permit. c) Minimum pad elevation and well structure shall be set above the jurisdictional water surface to the elevation, as shown on the approved plans and drainage report, and shall be certified by an RLS.
d) Submit completed elevation certificates to City of Tucson Planning & Development Services Department Engineering Division for acceptance. For SAVSARP Well SA-015A, submit first elevation certificate after compaction and completion of the fill pad, indicating minimum pad grade of 2306.61, and final elevation certificate indicating minimum elevation of top of well casing set at 2308.61.
e) Submit a copy of the as-builts to City of Tucson Planning & Development Services Department upon completion.
2) DS Sec.10-02.2.3.1.2.F: All conditions of Pima County Regional Flood Control District Floodplain Use Permit No.10-010 approved 2/16/10 shall apply.
3) DS Sec.11-01.4.1.C: Additional grading and floodplain review by the City of Tucson Planning & Development Services Department will be required for permits for the future structures or other future phase improvements on the constructed pad. At the time when permits are required for the future control building, submit copy of final elevation certificate with plans and drainage statement.
