See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes. 3. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal. 1. Include the plan number "I-2009-013" in title block of each sheet. 2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number "T09PI00006"on cover sheet. 3. Sheet 3, Detail 1/3: Indicate proposed roadway cross slope. Additionally, according to the Geotechnical Engineering Report for the subject project, the recommended pavement section is 2.5" over 4" of A.B.C. Revise cross section to reflect this. 4. Sheet 3, Detail 4/3: Indicate a minimum 5'x 5' landing for the proposed ramps. 5. Sheet 3, Detail 2/3: Indicate proposed roadway cross slope. 6. Sheet 4, Detail 3/4: Indicate the placement of barricade railing and the class of reinforced concrete pipe. 7. Provide header returns with a minimum 25' radii at the intersection of Crowley Brothers Drive and Old Vail Road. Additionally, end sidewalk at the BCR of the header return. 8. Provide curve data for curb knuckles, curves and cul-de-sacs 9. Placement of private irrigation facilities within the right-of-way will require a private utility easement. Please contact the COT Real Estate Division for information on acquiring an easement. Additionally, private irrigation facilities must meet COT adopted standards. Note the following requirements to any proposed irrigation in the right-of way. q Schedule 80 sleeving. q Marking tape. q Minimum 18" depth. q Mark/stamp on curb - IS (Irrigation System) and/or placard at back of curb q Sleeves must be in a recorded easement (easement width is dependent on what is needed for installation and/or repairs). q Sleeve should extend beyond the right-of-way (into private property), unless otherwise approved by TDOT. 10. Verify that a 2' minimum set back is provided from the hinge point of any cut and fill slope on private property and the property line (City of Tucson Development Standard 11-09.0). 11. Provide barricade railing along the right-of-way of any slope steeper than 4:1 and deeper than two (2) feet. Call out ending and beginning of any proposed barricade railing. 12. Verify that the cross slopes for pedestrian cross walk areas does not exceed 2%. 13. Add the following notes to the General Storm Drain Notes: q Drainage pipe shall conform to PC/COT SSPI Section 501or as directed by the engineer. q Pipe bedding shall conform to PC/COT Standard Detail 108.
