The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal. 1. Include the plan number "I-2009-015" in title block of each sheet. 2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number "T09PI00006"on cover sheet. 3. Sheet 3, Detail 1/3: Indicate proposed roadway cross slope. 4. Sheet 3, Detail 3/3: Indicate a minimum 5'x 5' landing for the proposed ramps 5. Sheet 4, Detail 9/4: Indicate proposed roadway cross slope and call out a maximum cross slope of 2% for the proposed asphalt path 6. Sheet 4, Detail 8/4: As indicated in the detail, the bearing bars of the grate will be orientated perpendicular to vehicular travel. Will this orientation provide the structural integrity equal to as when the bearing bars are place parallel to vehicular traffic? Additionally, indicate that the grates will be anchored per Standards Specifications for public improvements 503-3. 7. Sheet 5, Detail 5/5 & 6/5: Indicate proposed roadway cross slope. 8. Sheet 5, Detail 2/5: Indicate the placement of barricade railing and the class of reinforced concrete pipe. Additionally, Indicate that the hinge point of the slope must be a minimum of 2' from the property line. 9. Sheet 5, Detail 3/5: Delineate right-of-way and indicate the placement of barricade railing. 10. Sheet 8: Provide curve data and stationing for the cul-de-sac at the end of Granite Gulch Way. 11. Sheet 11: Provide post barricades and appropriate signage at the east end of Rincon Range Drive to restrict vehicular traffic. 12. Sheet 11: Provide erosion protection at end of pavement at the east end of Rincon Range Drive. 13. Provide line and curve data for roadway centerline. 14. Placement of private irrigation facilities within the right-of-way will require a private utility easement. Please contact the COT Real Estate Division for information on acquiring an easement. Additionally, private irrigation facilities must meet COT adopted standards. Note the following requirements to any proposed irrigation in the right-of way. Schedule 80 sleeving. Marking tape. Minimum 18" depth. Mark/stamp on curb - IS (Irrigation System) and/or placard at back of curb Sleeves must be in a recorded easement (easement width is dependent on what is needed for installation and/or repairs). Sleeve should extend beyond the right-of-way (into private property), unless otherwise approved by TDOT. 15. Verify that a 2' minimum set back is provided from the hinge point of any cut and fill slope on private property and the property line (City of Tucson Development Standard 11-09.0). 16. Provide barricade railing along the right-of-way of any slope steeper than 4:1 and deeper than two (2) feet. Note ending and beginning of any proposed barricade railing. 17. Verify that the cross slopes for pedestrian cross walk areas does not exceed 2%. 18. Add the following notes to the General Storm Drain Notes: Drainage pipe shall conform to PC/COT SSPI Section 501or as directed by the engineer. Pipe bedding shall conform to PC/COT Standard Detail 108. Refer to redline plans for additional comments and comment details. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. 1. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed. 2. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes. 3. Install R1-1 (Stop Sign) with street names on Granite Gulch Way off of Orange Mallow Drive per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 5-11, 5-12, and Chap 9-2. 4.
