Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan.

1. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed.

2. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes.

3. Install a W14-2a (No Outlet) plaque beneath the street name signs along Atterbury Wash Way at Mary Ann Cleveland Way.

4. Atterbury Wash Way is a local road therefore the speed limit will need to be posted at 25MPH.

5. Revise the "No Parking" sign detail as illustrated in the redlines.

6. Place the PIA Case number T09PI00004 on the cover sheet.

7. Add the following Pavement Marking/Striping General Notes to the Plans:

'ALL STREET STRIPING & SIGNAGE TO BE COORDINATED WITH C.O.T. TRAFFIC ENGINEERING CALL 791-4259 A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL OF ANY SIGNAGE OR STRIPING. ALL REQUIRED STRIPING AND SIGNAGE WILL BE INSTALLED AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. NEW STRIPING TO BE THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL. USE 2" SQUARE-TUBE POST AND SQUARE TUBE POST FOUNDATIONS FOR SIGNING. BARRICADE PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF TUCSON TRAFFIC ENGINEERING FOR APPROVAL 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF ANY WORK IN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY.'

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, DOT, Permits and Codes Section

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA Plan and does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal.

1. Include the plan number “I-2009-008” in title block of each sheet.

2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number “T09PI00004”on cover sheet.

3. Sheet 1: Provide a signature line for Pima Co. Regional Water Reclaimed Department.

4. Add the following notes to the General Notes:

? All Drainage Infrastructures, indicated on the plans, are in accordance to the approved Drainage Report approved by Development Services Department.
? Flooplain Use Permit No. ________________ has been issued by City of Tucson Development Services Department for work impacting City and FEMA floodplains.

5. Sheet 3, Detail 1/3 and 2/3: Indicate proposed roadway cross slope.

6. Sheet 5: Provide complete details for the raised median island north of the intersection of Mary Ann Cleveland Way. (see redlines)

7. Provide a turnaround, per COT Development Standard 3-01.62.C, at the north end of Atterbury Wash Way.

8. Provide a slope easement for the proposed road embankment for Atterbury Wash Way.

9. Will a CLOMAR /LOMR be required for this project? If required, submit approved CLOMR/LOMR.

10. Was the FEMA effective model used in the analysis of the floodplain?

11. Has a floodplain use permit (FUP) been issued by DSD for the proposed development within the floodplain? Include FUP number in general notes.

12. Is a 404 Permit required for this project?

13. Include details for proposed retaining wall in this drawing set. Retaining wall drawings must be sealed by an Arizona Registered Professional Structural Engineer.

14. Provide beginning and ending stationing for the proposed grouted Rip-Rap bank protection toe-down structure for the inlet and outlet of the proposed box culvert.

15. Provide a detail demonstrating the proper installation of the proposed grouted rip-rap.

16. Placement of private irrigation facilities within the right-of-way will require a private utility easement. Please contact the COT Real Estate Division for information on acquiring an easement. Additionally, private irrigation facilities must meet COT adopted standards. Note the following requirements to any proposed irrigation in the right-of way.

? Schedule 80 sleeving.
? Marking tape.
? Minimum 18" depth.
? Mark/stamp on curb - IS (Irrigation System) and/or placard at back of curb
? Sleeves must be in a recorded easement (easement width is dependent on what is needed for installation and/or repairs).
? Sleeve should extend beyond the right-of-way (into private property), unless otherwise approved by TDOT.

17. Verify that a 2’ minimum set back is provided from the hinge point of any cut and fill slope on private property and the property line (City of Tucson Development Standard 11-09.0).

18. Provide barricade railing along the right-of-way of any slope steeper than 4:1 and deeper/higher than two (2) feet. Note ending and beginning of any proposed barricade railing.
