Engineering Division does not recommend approval of the site plan or the floodplain use permit at this time. Please address the following review comments prior to the next submittal. Site Plan: 1. Unable to approve site plan until floodplain use permit has been approved. 2. Ensure all floodplain information is provided on site plan. 3. Additional comments may be forthcoming. Floodplain Use Permit: 1. Appraisal does not provide a separation of values for the house and the land. For the purpose of this permit, a value for the structure only is needed. (Note: Utilizing assessor information is possible for calculation of improvements. 2. Cost estimate submitted does not meet the minimum submittal requirements. Resubmit with contractor information and a signature. 3. Large discrepancy in the submitted cost estimate and the valuation provided by DSD-Residential. Cost estimate shows $52,925.00 for material and labor and the valuation provided by DSD-Residential shows a value of $108,087.46. Please clarify and provided cost estimate that has letterhead and signature. 4. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
