This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings (no clouds or revision numbers please) along with a set of the first submission (cloud corrections on this set please). All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. PLUMBING PLAN: 2. Provide a gas line isometric and size the supply pipe for the proposed gas furnace. Include the length of line and BTU demand for each appliance, size of each branch, total demand, and total developed length from meter to the most remote appliance on the system, UPC 1217.0 Table 12-8. Gas piping must be sized for the proposed demand. Pipe sizing specified does not meet the criteria of Table 12-8. 3. Provide additional details/information for the proposed 3-way valve for gray water distribution system. The gray water system must be capable of overflowing back to the sewer line should a blockage occur in the irrigation lines. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 4. Laundry rooms require at least one 20-amp circuit that shall serve no other outlets, E3603.3, 3801.8. Two 50amp 220 circuits are provided and one 20amp circuit that shares the 'social room'.
