2. Occupancy Classification indicated is "M" when in reality its' classification is a type "B" for business as per 2006 IBC, Section 303.1, Exception 1.
3. Occupancy Load as per table 1004.1.1 should be 30. Occupancy Load as per dining room layout shown on floor plan would be 39. Occupancy load of 32 as calculated by representive is as per merchantile, not applicable. Please rework the occupancy load to what is required by code for assembly fixed seating and kitchen loads as per table 1004.1.1 and show on drawings. If an occupancy load is desired based upon the floor plan seating layout, please recalculate load and apply for an appeal to Mr. LeeRay Hanly.
4. As per 2006 IBC, Section 2902.2 Separate Facilities, Exception 2, are not required for an occupancy laod of 15 or less. The occupancy load so far has been calculated to be somewhere between 30 and 39, well above the limit stated above of 15. Therefore, separate toilet facilities (men and women) are required for this facility.
