Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:
The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings (no clouds or revision numbers please) along with a set of the first submission (cloud corrections on this set please). All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets.
2. Any architect and/or engineer involved in the design of the structure shall seal the related sheets of plans including revisions, details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration.

INCLUSIVE HOME DESIGN:
3. Provide an approved appeal for exemption from the Inclusive Home Design Ordinance.

SECTIONS - DETAILS:
4. Provide a minimum opening of 22" by 30" for access and ventilation between over-framed assemblies (Detail 3-S3.0), R807.

PLUMBING PLAN:
5. The Uniform Plumbing Code and the International Plumbing Code are not interchangeable. Only one code may be specified for a plumbing design. Notes provided indicate plumbing to comply with the UPC and the fixture unit schedule has IPC values. Clarify.
6. Provide vent piping through the roof so that the aggregate cross-sectional area shall not be less than that of the largest required building sewer, UPC 904.1.
7. Provide vent sizes and locations on plumbing layout, UPC 904.

MECHANICAL PLAN:
8. Show the secondary condensate line terminating in an obvious location, M1411.3.
9. Show supply and return air ducts with a minimum R-8 insulation when located outside the thermal envelope (note 8.2 sheet M1), R1103.2.1.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
10. Designate two or more 2O-amp small appliance circuits to serve kitchen counter receptacles. Such circuits shall be GFCI protected and shall not serve other rooms (except breakfast areas, pantries, etc.), E3801.3.
