Willdan has conducted review #1 for below code requirements and will also perform all subsequent reviews. This letter contains comments, which must be addressed by written responses indicating any actions taken. In order to facilitate a shorter #2 review, all indicated corrections and revisions to the plans must be made and so noted by the use of “clouds”, “deltas”, and “revision numbers”. Please return the following to the City of Tucson Building Department: • Two complete new set of prints (including two sets of all materials). • All original and redlined plans that were returned to you. • Any other information, as referenced herein. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints are not acceptable. When the plans are found to be compliant with the code requirements listed below Willdan will forward the accepted final plans to the City of Tucson Building Department. Should you have questions regarding the comments herein, we encourage you to contact your plans examiner Rick Gonzalez. All commercial projects are reviewed for conformance with the 2006 IBC, 2006 IMC, 2006 IECC, 2006 UPC, 2006 IFC, and the 2005 NEC (with local modifications). All residential projects are reviewed for conformance with the 2006 IRC, 1997 UAC, and the 2006 UPC. Any revisions to this plan will require an additional review and approval by Willdan. Please Note: If the referenced project was expedited, the fee ratio will be applied should the project go to an hourly rate. Waterline: Provide the total fixture unit demand, new and existing (based on Table P2903.7) and the maximum developed length. Reference 2006 IRC Section 2903. 3. Fixtures that have flood level rims located below the elevation of the next up stream manhole cover of the public sewer serving such fixtures shall be protected from backflow of sewage by installing an approved backwater valve. Fixtures having flood level rims above the elevation of the next upstream manhole shall not discharge through the backwater valve. Backwater valves shall be provided with access. Ref.
