08/24/2009 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Show how the temperature of the hot water supply to the public lavatories is controlled. Reference: Section 413.1, UPC 2006 and Section 504.3, IECC 2006.
2. Revise the size of the provided scuppers to comply with the requirements of Section 1101.11.2.1, UPC 2006. Note that each scupper can only drain a discrete section of the roof and any contributing roof drainage caused by gutter overflow should be considered. Refer also to Section 1106.4, UPC 2006.
3. Show how the storm water drainage from the porch will be prevented from damaging the adjacent north wall of the addition. Reference: Section 1101.11, UPC 2006.
4. Provide the slope of the existing roof gutter and note how it will be modified to drain toward the new downspout. Reference Sections 103.2.3 and 1106.3, UPC 2006.
5. Show how the termination of the rainwater leaders located on the southeast side of the addition will be arranged so that the storm water doesn't cross over the sidewalk. Reference: Section 4.4 F, City of Tucson Development Standard No. 3-01.0.
08/24/2009 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Provide energy code compliance calculations (for Pima County < 4,000 feet). Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the building envelope. The information shall, as a minimum, include U-factors of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration. Reference: Sections 101.4 and 104.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2006.
2. Show how the indoor heat pump sections are being connected to the building structure. Reference: Section 302.1, IMC 2006.
3. The indoor heat pump detail on sheet M2.0 identifies fan coils FC-27 and FC-27; are they part of this activity? Reference: Section 106.3.1, IMC 2006.
4. Ventilation for restrooms in public spaces requires a minimum of 75 CFM of mechanical exhaust per water closet or urinal. From what source is this outside air being drawn? Reference: Section 403.2.2 and Table 403.3, IMC 2006.
5. Revise the ventilation calculations to take into account the different occupancy loads in the project space. Reference: Sections 403.3 and 403.3.2, IMC 2006.

The Electrical Plans have been denied for the following;
1. Sheet E2.0, the Outdoor Lighting Calculations shows 3-D fixtures ---un sheilded, Sheet E1.0 shows 4 -D fixtures being used and marked unsheilded , these have to be fully sheilded.
2. Sheet E2.0 shows 6 C fixtures fully sheilded on Outdoor Lighting Calculations. The C fixtures shown on Sheet E1.0 are indoors, and not required to be on Outdoor Lighting Calculations? Please address this comment.
3.The D fixtures show to be 150 W HPS, the lumen count given for these appears too low, please verify.
4. Provide fault current values at the service and new panel.
5. The 1/0 cu grounded going to one service disconnect also has to be tied to the second disconnect per 2005 NEC 250.
