08/24/2009 | ROBERT SHERRY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | 1. Provide information on the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust to show that recirculation of the air from the restroom will not occur. Reference: Section 403.2.1, IMC 2006. 2. Comment not resolved; the reply to the original comment stated that the dampers would be from detail 1/M3.2. They are still there but now they are clouded. Show how the installation of both a balance damper and a barometric damper in the grease duct (detail 1/M3.2) will prevent the accumulation of grease within the duct. Reference: Section 506.3.7, IMC 2006. Note that the detail and the kitchen hood schedule shown on sheet M1.1 also contradict the duct size and the exhaust air flow noted in the calculations shown on sheet M3.2. 3. The installation of the future Type I hood will require a separate permit. |
