The installation of a Type I hood shall be per the current mechanical code. The kitchen equipment list (A-4) shows a 2-burner range, a convection oven, and a combi-oven under hood H-1. Hood H-1 must be a Type I hood. Reference: Section 507.2, IMC 2006. 3. TUSD is required to comply with the Arizona State Fire Code which also requires a Type I hood.
