2. As per 2006 IBC, Section 106.2, the construction documents submitted with the application for permit shall be accompanied by a site plan showing to scale the size and location of new construction and existing structures on the site, distances from lot lines, the established street grades and the proposed finished grades. In the case of demolition, the site plan shall show construction to be demolished and the location and size of existing structures and construction that are to remain on the site or plot. From the presented documents, it is undeterminable the effect of the additions on the existing conditions and accessibility to the new accessible entries, ramps, accessible routes and etc. Please submit a site plan showing all the above.
3. As per 2006 IBC: 1704.1.1 Statement of special inspections. The permit applicant shall submit a statement of special inspections prepared by the registered design professional in responsible charge in accordance with Section 106.1 as a condition for permit issuance. This statement shall be in accordance with Section 1705.
4. As per the 2006 IBC: Section 106.3.4.2 Deferred submittals. For the purposes of this section, deferred submittals are defined as those portions of the design that are not submitted at the time of the application and that are to be submitted to the building official within a specified period. Deferral of any submittal items shall have the prior approval of the building official. The registered design professional in responsible charge shall list the deferred submittals on the construction documents for review by the building official.
5. Room 112 is still labeled "OFFICE".
6. Ceramic tile is not acceptable as a suitable material to be located behind and around the exhaust hood. The grout joints are susceptible to absorbing grease and dirt and are difficult to clean. Please provide an acceptable material as required by IMC 507.9.
7. At new toilet room Number 205:
a. No letter from kitchen director is included in resubmittal package.
b. All newly constructed toilet rooms shall be accessible. Please reference 2006 IBC, "3409.6 Alterations. A building, facility or element that is altered shall comply with the applicable provisions in Chapter 11 and ICC A117.1, unless technically infeasible. Where compliance with this sectionis technically infeasible, the alteration shall provide access to the maximum extent technically feasible."
" Section 1109.2 Toilet and bathing facilities. Toilet rooms and bathing facilities shall be accessible. Where a floor level is not required to be connected by an accessible route, the only toilet rooms or bathing facilities provided within the facility shall not be located on the inaccessible floor. At least one of each type of fixture, element, control or dispenser in each accessible toilet room and bathing facility shall be accessible.
8. Sheet 15 as per the original submittal was toilet elevation and plan details plus cabinet details. In this new submittal, sheet number 15 is now a duplicate of sheet 16 with revisions shown. The previous sheet 15 is now sheet 20.

11. The dimensions shown fro the Typical Accessory Mounting Heights are not as per ICC/ANSI 117.1, Section 603 and 604 and references.
12. In addition, toilet 205 is further non-compliant as per 2006 IBC, 1210.5 Toilet rooms: Toilet rooms shall not open directly into a room used for the preparation of food for service to the public.

2. The kitchen equipment list (A-4) shows a 2-burner range, a convection oven, and a combi-oven under hood H-1. Hood H-1 must be a Type I hood. Reference: Section 507.2, IMC 2006.

2. Comment not addressed. Clarify the design for the roof drainage for the new kitchen roof. Detail 1/A-8 shows an un-sized roof drain (primary drain) along with a scupper (secondary drain) but the roof plan on sheet A-10 does not show any roof drains. 3. Comment not addressed. The minimum opening width for a scupper is 6.25", based on a 2" roof drain requirement. Reference: Section 1101.11.2.1, UPC 2006.
4. Comment not addressed. Detail 1/A-8 indicates a "metl (sic) bug screen" enclosing the entry to the scupper. Show that the open area of the screen is at least 1.5 times greater than the minimum area of the scupper (4" x 6.25"). Reference: Sections 1101.11.2.1 and 1105.2, UPC 2006.
