Please clarify and show properly on construction documents. 6. Sheet A-2: If the Den is new, please provide details for a new stair including foundation and details. 7. Sheet A-3: a. At the Existing/New Utility Room, wall framing is noted 2x4s at 24" o.c. whereas reference details and the structura; calculations call for 2x6 wall framing @ 16" o.c. 1. There are no calculations for the rooff framing joists. b. Floor Plan calls for 5x12 GLB, calculations call for 5 1/8x12. c. Please show existing floor framing for a complete second floor framing plan, new and existing. d. Please provide a roof framing showing all existing and new framing. e. Provide structural calculations for all existing to be modified framing members (floor and or roof). 8. Sheet A-4: a. Please define and relate to all floor, foundation and framing plans what is new and what is existing. Show and define all new additions to elevations, use line weight and notes. b. The finished grade definition is less than clear. It appears as though the building is setting on a hugh concrete block 10" from finished grade and sticking out from all finished exterior walls approximately 18" all the way around. c. Cordinate the Utility Room clerestory window size from the exterior elevations to the floor plan. d. Cantelevered balcony stair landing is not shown on floor plan, clarify. e. Show stair and handrails on building sections properly. END OF REVIEW |
