Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:
The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings (no clouds or revision numbers please) along with a set of the first submission (cloud corrections on this set please). All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets.
2. Any architect and/or engineer involved in the design of the structure shall seal the related sheets of plans, details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration.

SITE PLAN:
3. Show compliance with the pool enclosure requirements according to AG105.2 as amended by the City of Tucson. Include the height of the barrier and all windows/doors within the pool area.
4. Include the proposed pergola in the lot coverage calculation.
5. Demonstrate appropriate fire resistance for the pergola near the property line. Exterior walls with a fire separation distance less than 3 feet shall have not less than a one-hour fire-resistive rating with exposure from both sides. Projections shall not extend to a point closer than 2 feet from the line used to determine the fire separation distance. Projections extending into the fire separation distance shall have not less than one-hour fire-resistive construction on the underside. (R302.1 as amended)

FLOOR PLANS:
6. Specify doors between the garage and living space to be self-closing minimum 20-minute fire-rated. (R309.1 as amended)
7. Specify safety glazing in hazardous locations within 24" of doorways. (R308.4)

STRUCTURAL PLANS:
8. Provide 50-80% of the required roof ventilation in the upper portion of the roof to qualify for the 1:300 ratio. (R806.2)

PLUMBING PLAN:
9. The Uniform Plumbing Code and the International Plumbing Code are not interchangeable. Only one code may be specified for a plumbing design. Notes provided indicate plumbing to comply with the UPC and the fixture unit schedule has IPC values. Clarify.
10. Justify the specified ½" diameter hot and cold supply lines to the new bathroom. (P2903.7)

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
11. Provide accurate circuit references on electrical layout to match panel schedules. (E3603.5)
