The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal. 1. Include the plan number "I-2008-028" in title block of each sheet. 2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number "T08PI00026"on cover sheet. 3. Include Oracle Road and Roger Road in Title of plan. 4. Show and label all existing utility infrastructure (poles, cabinets pull boxes, etc.) within the right-of-way and indicate as to their disposition if enchroacing. 5. Provide a dimensioned detail of each type of curb access ramp proposed. 6. Use standard abbreviations per PC/COT Standard detail 101. 7. Indicate curve data for proposed median islands and all curb returns. 8. Include a signature line for ADOT on the cover sheet. 9. Include applicable COT PIA Paving and General Notes in plan (see attached). 10. Use standard COT north arrow (see attached). 11. Proposed storm drains within the public rights-of-way must be of reinforced concrete. 12. Provide a dimensioned pavement structural detail for each differing roadway sections. 13. Sheet 2, Detail A, B & C: Incorrect curb type called out. 14. Sheet 2, Detail E: Reference PC/COT Std. Dtl. 205.5. Barricade railing must be placed outside of the sidewalk area and sidewalk scupper should extend 1' beyond the width of the sidewalk width. Provide stationing for the proposed sidewalk scupper at the Roger Road entrance (two entrances on Roger Road). 15. Provide complete details for the proposed Bus Shelter. 16. Provide a concrete bus pad per ADOT Standard Detail C-05-50. Depict and call out in plan view and provided complete details. 17. Provide complete details for the proposed drainage structures and connections. 18. Storm drain junctions and modifications must designed per the Standards Manual for Drainage Design for the City of Tucson. 19. Provide valley gutters, per PC/COT SD 208, across all driveway entrances. 20. Sheet 5: Indicate the finished surface treatment for the proposed median island in Roger Road. 21. A catch basin with a combination curb and grate inlet will have to be provided at Sta. +/- 7+62, LT Rodger Road. 22. Provide a curb terminal section, per PC/COT Std. Dtl. 212, at Sta. 7+13, LT Roger Road. 23. Provide a detail of the opening in the median island located at Sta. +/- 8+17 Roger Road. Additionally was this opening sized appropriately to prevent ponding in the left turn lane? 24. Provide A detail of the median opening for the pedestrian access at Sta. +/- 9+59 Roger Road. Additionally, indicate the placement of detectable warning strips. 25. Indicate construction limits for proposed sidewalk along Oracle Road and Roger Road. 26. The lateral transition of the sidewalk at Sta. +/- 151+85 Oracle Road exceeds the maximum allowable (3 longitudinal and 1 lateral). A pedestrian access easement may have to be provided in order lessen angle. 27. Provide a hydraulic analysis of the storm drain system to compute the hydraulic grade line. Please provide the proposed details to Paul Rosenboon at 4004 S. Park Ave Bld #2. Is the plan to hardscape the median on Oracle as well as the median on Roger? 2. Is there any proposed landscaping for this project. If so, please submit the landscape plan to Paul Rosenboom at 4004 S. Park Ave. Bld #2 for review. 3. Sheet 5 & 6 - Is there concrete planned for behind the sidewalk scuppers? If not, what is the proposed erosion control? 4. All work in the city right of way needs to be coordinated with Paul Rosenboom at 791-3154 ext 234, to prevent damage to the exiting landscaping and irrigation. 5. I have given one of my plan sets to Ernie Encinas, Transportaion Superintendent, so that he could review the electrical portion of the plans. Please contact him at 791-3154 for comments. |

During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes. 3. Due to the number of redlines a meeting is required with city staff to discuss redlines and design options. 4. Coordination with ADOT is required.
