SUBJECT: Irvington Road Right Turn Lane & Median Modifications, PIA T08PI0017, I-2008-019

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, DOT, Permits and Codes Section

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA Plan and does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal.

1. All curb access ramps along the development's frontage will have to be brought into compliance with current PC/COT Standards and Specifications and ADA requirements.

2. All existing 4' wide sidewalk along the development's frontage will have to be replaced with 6' wide sidewalk.

3. 6' wide sidewalk will have to be provided up to the junction of the Santa Cruz River Park multi-use path with a minimum 1' clearance provided between the sidewalk and any structure. A possibility may be to meander the sidewalk around the existing structures or relocate existing park facilities. Pima County Parks and Recreation will have to approve any modifications to the existing park facilities.

4. Provide the stationing and offsets for the relocated guard railing at the eastern end of the project.
