Please make sure that there are not ponding areas in the new pavemnent. 2. Sheet 1 & 2 - Note 3 - This note indicates a detail 2 on sheet 1. I did not find this detail. 3. Will there be any landscaping installed with this project? If so, please submit the landscape plan to Paul Rosenboom at 4004 S. Park Avenue Bld#2 for review and approval. 4. All work in the right of way needs to be coordinated with Paul Rosenboom at 791-5279 ext 234. No further comments. |

Single word responses are unacceptable. Include plans/redlines from previous plan submittal. 2. The cover sheet must show the locations and the extent of the work to be performed and is to be drawn to the scale of 1"=100'. Orient the drawing with north arrow toward the top of the page. Indicate the proposed roadway improvements with a hatched area of some kind. Refer to the Office Procedure No. 8-1552-002 of the PIA Guidelines and Checklist. 3. In title block, add assigned I-Plan Number, I-2008-014 to all sheets. 4. Indicate assigned DSD activity number T08PI00014 above title block. See redlines. 5. Indicate the Administrative address. 6. Indicate the Developer and owner's name. 7. The Plan title and title block must me the same. Correct title to read Tyndall Ave. & 23rd St., SE corner Paving plan. 8. Plan Symbols and Abbreviations will be accepted only as per the PC/COT Standard Details for Public Improvement 2003 Edition. Refer to Detail No.100, sheets 1 thru 11. Use all that apply. Indicate symbol in legend. 9. Reminder, the Engineer of Record must provide written documentation that all utilities within the right of way have been cleared for construction. Contact Sonia Montiel, DSD PIA Coordinator. 10. The Basis of Elevation must reference a field Book and Page from COT. 11. The parcel is in a COT Flood hazard area. A Floodplain Use Permit is required. Contact Development Services Engineering for application and review. 12. Indicate the following Paving Notes: ² Floodplain Use Permit No._______, has been issued by Development Services Department for work impacting City and FEMA Floodplains. 13. Sheet 2 and the subsequent sheets will show plan/profile views. Refer to the Office Procedure No. 8-1552-002. 14. Sheet 2, the title block is different for the subsequent sheets. See attachment on plans. 15. The approved Development plan shows a proposed sewer line. Indicate the proposed sewer line on the PIA on the Plan view. Also submit a copy of the sewer plans from Pima County for City of Tucson review. Submit plans to Blanca Espino. 16. Confirm that all Rezoning requirements pertaining to the rights-of-way have been met. 17. All Easements, dedications, right-of-way should be depicted in plan view and labeled with recordation information (docket/page or plat book/page). See redlines for corrections. 18. Indicate the Saw-cut Beginning, Point of Tangency, and Ending; include Stationing, Offset and Elevations. See redlines. 19. Hinge points of cut and fill slopes must have a minimum setback of two feet from right-of-way. (Slope on private side). D.S. 11-01.9.0 (9.2, 9.3 & Figure 2). Correct Details 1 of sheets 1 & 2. 20. Detail sheets will indicate all details of new manholes, drainage pipes, catch basins, other structures, and cross-sections, which are required to complete a working set of drawings. . Refer to the Office Procedure No. 8-1552-002. 21. The structural pavement must reference the Geotechnical Report recommendation for public roads. Correct street section details. 22. Indicate the full right-of-way dimensions and details for existing and proposed. 23. A dimensioned detail for each type of curb access ramp to be built as part of the project must be shown. Truncated Domes required. Indicate the corner access ramp. 24. Terminal curb section is required at end of vertical curb(s). 25. Due to the required pavement widening along 23rd Street a taper will be required between the new edge of pavement to the existing edge of pavement at the East End of this project. Contact Traffic Engineering to establish what taper configuration is acceptable to the city. 26. See redlines for additional corrections. Once changes, modifications, and or corrections are made to the PIA plan resubmitted and reviewed, further comment may result.
