The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal. 1. Include Book and Page on cover sheet. 2. Include the plan number "I-2008-002" in title block of each sheet. 3. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number (T0800001) on cover sheet. 4. Indicate the longitudinal slopes for the proposed pavement section in the profile views. 5. Provide the recordation information for the proposed right-of-way to be dedicated. 6. Sheet 2, details A, B & C: Indicate the proposed curb reveal heights and indicate that the existing pavement will be saw cut with the saw cut line located a minimum of 1 foot from existing edge of pavement. 7. Sheet 2: Details A, B & C indicates existing vertical curb but according to as-built plans the south side of 36th Street is currently striped paved, verify if curb is existing. 8. The cross slope for pedestrian crosswalk area across Bridges Drive must not exceed 2%. Refer to redline plans for additional comments and comment details. Sheet 4 & 5 - Please call out the stations and offsets for the beginnings, the ends, and the terminal curb sections. 3. Sheets 6,7,&8 - There appear to be manholes in the proposed sidewalk. Will the manholes be adjusted to the sidewalk grade, or will the sidewalk jog around the manholes? 4. Sheet 8 - The new sidewalk needs to end where the vertical curb stops. 5. Sheet 9 & 10 - Will there be a striped bike land along the north side of 36th? No further comments. |

Ortiz PE, Traffic Engineer Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. 1. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed. 2. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes. 3. Call out all new and existing signage. 4. Per the Bridges PAD section C.3.1.F the following roadway improvements are required along 36th Street. "F. 36th Street Improvements section - (two travel lanes in each direction with a continuous center left turn lane), bike lanes, curbs, street lighting, and 6' sidewalks on both sides. This street presently contains four travel lanes and is a curbless crosssection with no sidewalks or bike lanes. (Appendix D, Figure 2, p. D-2)." 5. Adjust the cross sections on sheet 2 to reflect the required 36th Steet sections per the PAD. 6. Place the PIA and PAD Case number on the cover sheet. 7. Add the following Pavement Marking/Striping General Notes to the Plans: 'ALL NON-SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION STREET NAMES MUST HAVE E-W BLOCK NUMBER ADDRESSES FOR E-W ROADWAYS AND N-S BLOCK NUMBER ADDRESSES FOR N-S ROADWAYS.' 'ALL WARNING SIGN PANELS SHALL BE FLUORESCENT YELLOW DIAMOND-GRADE (DG-CUBED OR EQUIVALENT) SHEETING. ALL SCHOOL ZONE SIGNS SHALL BE FLUORESCENT YELLOW-GREEN DIAMOND GRADE (DG-CUBED OR EQUIVALENT) SHEETING. ALL OTHER SIGN PANELS SHALL HAVE HIGH INTENSITY PRISMATIC TYPE IV SHEETING.'
