The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the FEMA Shaded 100-year flood prone area per the Flood Insurance Rate Maps 04019C1643K, specifically described as:

A portion of Parcel 110-06-040B

For the purpose of repairing storm damage to an existing conforming structure due to wind and a fallen tree.

The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Area Regulations, and are bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations require application for, review and approval of an additional Floodplain Use Permit.

This floodplain use permit is issued with the following 9 conditions:
1) This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development changes the topography or grading of the site, or, if there is any further disturbance within the floodplain other than that outlined in this application. This floodplain use permit may be subject to conditions or restrictions designed to reduce or mitigate the potential damage or hazard to life or property resulting from the repairs to the structure within the property boundaries and accepted by the City of Tucson.
2) Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties.
3) An Elevation Certificate (Precision Land Surveying, Inc., 01OCT08) was submitted for this property and existing structure to show conformance with Chapter 26 of the Tucson Code. The Base Flood Elevation was calculated with a Manning Section based on the FIS profile of the AE Zone that is adjacent to the site. The BFE at the upstream end of the structure is 2411.1 feet NAVD88. The Finished Floor Elevation was calculated at 2416.2 feet NAVD88. The existing structure is elevated more than 1-foot above the BFE and is in conformance with Chapter 26.
4) All work shall conform to the approved Details and General site plan sheets for the storm damage repair, which are made part of this permit.
5) Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, and through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "CONSTRUCTION PROCEEDING UNDER REQUIREMENTS OF CITY OF TUCSON FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT # T08OT02867 FOR INFORMATION PLEASE CALL 791-5550."
6) This Floodplain Use Permit and plans shall be kept in a readily accessible location on site at all times.
7) Any additional future disturbance of the floodplain shall have separate floodplain use permit applications submitted to this office for review and approval.

9) This permit is specific to the improvements for 3968 E Presidio Road as indicated on the approved plans. It shall not apply to any other structure or property, whether attached or unattached, not specified under this permit.

Renewal of this permit will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the City of Tucson, Development Services Department, Engineering Division. This permit may be renewed for up to one year, in the absence of Registered Plant authorization, at the sole discretion of the City Engineer or designated representatives.

This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid if conditions are not complied with, as set forth in this permit.
